Free language & clinical training programme provided by NHS clinicians and academics for refugee and asylum-seeking doctors based in England.
Doctors on the PLAB programme at REACHE may be eligible for pre and post-registration clinical placements, followed by support to secure their first job in the NHS.
Doctors who have passed OET and/or PLAB with REACHE are priority for our post-registration programme.
We are not currently recruiting doctors who have passed PLAB 2 or are already registered with the General Medical Council. This will be reviewed in Summer 2027.

Recruit our doctors
REACHE supports refugee and asylum-seeking doctors to regain their professional identity and return to clinical work in the NHS (National Health Service). REACHE has helped hundreds of healthcare professionals into NHS employment. Inhouse clinical and English for Specific Purposes tutors deliver a quality-assured OET and PLAB curriculum with high pass rates. Dedicated pastoral, housing and mental health support enables our members to focus on their training with confidence.
